What Is Aadhaar Card?

Every citizen of the nation is given an Aadhaar Card, which has a 12-digit unique number, by the UIDAI, or Unique Identification Authority of India. It functions as a single identification document and provides evidence of identity and address. However, you cannot use an Aadhaar Card in place of a PAN card, driver’s license, passport, etc.

What Is Aadhaar Appointment Booking?

The Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) has provided the facility of Aadhaar appointment booking online. You won’t need to wait in line at the bank or post office to apply for a new Aadhaar card or make any changes to your existing one, thanks to the Unique Identification Authority of India’s (UIDAI) online Aadhaar appointment booking services.

The facility of online appointment booking is available for:

  • Fresh Aadhaar card enrolment
  • Aadhaar card updates include updating name, address, mobile, email-id, photograph, gender, and date of birth.

How To Book An Aadhaar Card Appointment?

You can secure an Aadhaar appointment booking by following the steps below:

  • Go to the UIDAI website.
  • Select the “My Aadhaar” tab. Pick “Book an Appointment” from the drop-down menu.
  • Next, choose the “City/Location” option under the heading “Book an appointment at UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendra.”
  • You should click on “Proceed to book an Appointment” after that.
  • The website will direct you to a new page once you have chosen the “City/Location.”
  • The next step is to select one of the Aadhaar services listed on the page. “New Aadhaar,” “Aadhaar Update,” or “Manage Appointment” are the available options.
  • For instance, if you chose the “Aadhaar Update” option, entered the registered mobile number captcha code, and successfully generated One Time Password (OTP), you will need to enter the OTP into the space provided on the web page to confirm your application. If you request a “New Aadhaar,” you can verify your new mobile number.
  • After your OTP has been successfully verified, you must complete a thorough online form. The form primarily entails completing the appointment and personal information, choosing the time slot, and carefully reviewing all the details.
  • After entering your personal information and appointment information, you must choose a time slot to book the appointment.
  • Review your appointment information. If there are discrepancies, click the “Previous” tab to make the necessary corrections. If all the information is accurate, click “Submit” to finish the online appointment booking process.
